The hotel Reina Isabell is not only an insiders’ tip concerning accommodation, but also because of its Café with a beautiful view over Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is located on the 8th floor of the hotel, which is in the forefront of the Canteras beach, and has a stunning view over the entire bay of the beach, the beach El Confital, which is in the district La Isleta, and the innumerable rooftops of Santa Catalina – which is probably the most international district of Las Palmas.
You can reach the Café of the hotel, which is directly at the Paseo de las Canteras, when you enter its main entrance and go through the entrance hall until you reach the reception. There you just need to turn left and take the lift to the 8th and last floor.
The Café and the roof terrace which belongs to it are open to the public. So you do not need to have a room at the hotel to enjoy the gorgeous view over the Canteras beach and the Atlantic Ocean while having a coffee, a good glass of wine, or anything else you wish for.

You can relax in the comfortable beach and deck chairs and enjoy the sunset of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria – in case the clouds do not spoil the spectacle. The seats, which are arranged around the swimming-pool that only hotel guests are allowed to use, are protected from the light breeze which is caused by the elevated position by an approximately one metre high glass plate.
The atmosphere of the Café is quite and relaxed. Gentle background music (Jazz and Blues) provides for an easy-going holiday feeling and makes for a good conversation or only to enjoy the nature – the deep blue ocean and the setting, fire-red sun.
