Arinaga – awesome waves and top restaurants

Bodyboarders and surfers enjoy great waves right in front of the harbor

The surf spot Arinaga lies at the northern edge of the village’s beach, right next to the mole. Above all, the Canarian youth spend their time surfing here. Nearby, there are several excellent – even if not quite cheap – fish restaurants.

Arinaga beach may not be one of the east coast’s loveliest. Still, the flat and rocky coastline invites to snorkel or relax. Arinaga is a vivid and popular place and is thus quite crowded on weekends and evenings. In any case, the atmosphere along the beach, its promenade and in the countless restaurants is usually friendly and easy-going.

As you can see on the pictures, Arinaga’s waves are suited best for bodyboarders, but also surfers enjoy this kind of wave.
