Aside from hiking, relaxing and experiencing the Canarian nature, guests can also visit the food market in San Mateo which takes place every Sunday. There one can buy various home made Canarian food for reasonable prices. The market is located only a couple of kilometres from the hotel.
Land Scaping:
On an area of about 2.000 square meters guests can enjoy the blossoms and fruits of various (fruit-)trees, depending on the season: plums, pears, oranges, lemons, tangerines, almonds, myrtle and “follados”, cypress, palm trees, guaydies and various other exotic vegetation is there for the guests to enjoy. Around the hotel property various smaller fruit plantations and vegetable gardens are located. In this environment guests can easily forget about the rest of the world for a couple of days and can truly feel like they are on vacation on a gorgeous island, far away from the daily stress and chaos.
Cuisine and Food:
Canarian and mediterranean cuisine. The breakfast buffet consists of home made jam, freshly squeezed orange juice, local fruit, cake, Canarian cheese, honey and Canarian gofio (typical Canarian roasted corn flour).
