✭ Sardina – Fisher Village and Beach

The colourful houses of the village are built directly on and in the red rocks of the cliff due to the shortage of space and are already a sight to see. In the harbour one can marvel at the countless, small, colourful and affectionately decorated fishing boats on which the locals sit and relax in the sun and fish while smoking.

Directly on the harbour the delicacy restaurant „La Fragata“ offers fresh seafood in various flavours. The cost of these dishes is fair compared to the fresh and highly qualitative food. This is not the only culinary experience in Sardina, because right next to the black, sandy and clean beach of the village the recommendable restaurant “Farallon” is located.

If one wants to eat something quick and save money, the snack bar „Invitame“, which is also located right next to the beach, is a good alternative. After eating all this seafood, sandwiches and hamburgers we are ready to conquer Sardina’s beach, which just recently got equipped with new sanitary rooms. Here guests can stick their feet into the warm and black sand while leaning against the stone wall and enjoying the amazing and gorgeous sunset.

The clear view to the West makes colour explosions at night possible all year round when the sun sinks down into the deep blue Atlantic. Centimetre after centimetre the sun sinks towards the straight thin line on the horizon, which separates the deep blue of the water from the light blue of the evening sky.

Quiet, warmth and a colourful blanket that covers the water – the sun seems to roll out these things directly into one’s arms. Strangely, one will see something on the horizon that looks like a dark cloud but in reality is the peak of the “Teide”, the highest mountain of Spain which is located on Tenerife.
