Enjoy some of the finest spain waves! La Puntilla is located at the end of the Paseo de las Canteras, direction he part of the city calles "La Isleta". Access via a lava reef and some rocks. Insiders refer to La Puntilla as the springboard to the champions league, the surf spot El Confital. Beginners start with the spot La Cicer and once they have learnt the basic skills there, they venture the move to the next level of difficulty so to speak, the spain waves of "La Puntilla".
Apart from that, there is an excellent fish restaurant which gives surfers the opportunity to re-encounter the fish with which they have only recently been together in the water in another surrounding, that is to say, on a plate.
Above the surf spot with the same name there is the Plaza La Puntilla from where you can enjoy a marvellous view all over Canteras beach, the Playa El Confital and the highest mountain in Spain. With this ominous mountain that rises above more than 3700 meters we mean the Teide, which is located on the neighbouring island Tenerife.
The above picture shows the sunset at the Puntilla. In the background you can see two lava domes – the first one shows the Galdar, whereas the one in the distance shows the Teide on the neighbouring island Tenerife.
Almost kitschy: a view of Canteras beach – in the front, boats of the last fishermen who cast their nets starting from Las Palmas.
